It´s a solution that is being developed with the idea of  providing a non-intrusive system that monitor people´s movement, so a possible fall can be detected and the family members of the user can be notified about the fall. Careabout is based on the development of artificial vision that it´s going to ensure the safety of their users, with no need for them to  interact with the system.

What are Careabout benefits?

It´s an alternative to the current applications wich only technological solution is to place sensors on people.

The detection of the fall is performed without any piece of technlogy to engage people. And with no need to press an alarm button because the system does it automatically.

Additionally, images or video that captures the system can be analyzed later to determine the causes of the fall. This feature provides a great advantage over traditional methods.

Who are Careabout targets?

Careabout is a system that is aimed at those  who suffer some kind of dependency and need to monitor their movements, either by their  family or some kind of health facility.

Therefore, Careabout is aimed at two markets:

• Residential market: dependent people requiring special monitoring and the detection of possible unintentional falls in their homes.
• Institutional market: (hospitals, health centers, homes, etc) wich can monitor their patients and the reasons of the falls.
